Generational Differences at Work (4 hours)
A workshop designed for both supervisors and
general employees. Learn
the different perspectives and world/work views each generation
brings through an interactive media quiz.
The focus is on understanding differences and identifying
strategies to work through these differences to create respectful
work relationships.
Managing Conflict at Work (4 hours)
This workshop gives employees a clear model to
guide them when holding difficult conversations with each other,
their bosses or their customers.
The focus is on helping all of us understand our normal
tendencies when dealing with conflict.
Participants will be given a
model they can use to make holding difficult conversations
more comfortable and more effective.
This workshop includes several interactive components,
including a fictional story used to demonstrate key points in the
curriculum.
Stepping up to Conflict (4 hours)
This workshop reviews the concepts presented in Managing Conflict at Work and helps participants practice and reinforce the skills needed to speak up and hold difficult conversations.
Emergenetics (4 hours)
There are many
different personality profiling systems out there.
Emergenetics© is unique in that it not only helps individuals
understand their unique thinking preferences, but it also measures
preferences along three behaviors.
It is presented in a simple chart that creates a common
language among individuals to increase communication and
understanding among team members.
Great for intact work groups or as an addition to a formal
leadership or training program.
Business Writing, Part
I (4 hours)
This workshop provides
a fun and effective review of basic writing principles.
Participants will review the basics of punctuation, grammar
and sentence structure.
Participants will leave this workshop with a better understanding of
how to edit and revise their business & professional documents.
Includes a review of proper formats for common business
documents such as emails, memos, letters and reports.
This workshop can be conducted either in a traditional
classroom setting or in a computer lab.
Business Writing, Part
II (4 hours)
A more advanced workshop that assists individuals who are responsible for advanced written materials such as formal reports, speeches, grants or proposals. This workshop covers techniques for getting past writer’s block, advanced organizing schemes and helpful online resources for writers. This workshop can be conducted either in a traditional classroom setting or in a computer lab.
